Rules of the Game!

MODIFIED RULES FOR 2020
Time Limits are drop dead time limits. Game ends when time is up.
 
6U was PREP LEAGUE
·         No changes- 1 hr time limit
5 runs per inning
 
8U was Teeny A
·         No changes- 1 hr time limit
5 runs per inning
 
10U was Teeny AA and Junior A
·         1 hr 15 min time limit
·         5 runs per inning
 
12u was Junior A and Junior AA
·         1 hr 30 min time limit
·         7 runs per inning
 
15U was Senior
·         1 hr 45 min time limit
·         7 runs per inning
 
ALL OF SOFTBALL WILL PLAY 1 HR WITH A 5 RUN LIMIT PER INNING

Dover Park rules for State Tournament

  1. No smoking inside of park. There are designated smoking areas close to the entrances.  Please do not stand in the entrance where people have to walk through the smoke to get in.
  2. No animals(dogs, cats, rabbits, etc.)  Service animals are allowed but the owner has to show paper work for the service animal.
  3. No coolers (small one with towels and water for cooling player will be permitted however we will supply water and towels in every dugout for this purpose).  We still have the right to look in the coolers.
  4. Park phone number to check on rain outs (479) 331-9804.
  5. No glass containers permitted in ball park.
  6. Warm up area for players are on the Field 3 and Field 4 (see map of fields on Field Locations page)  No batting practice will be allowed on these fields however there are two batting cages you may use.
  7. Dug outs are to be cleaned before you leave the field.
  8. Home dug out is 3rd base side 
  9. There will be a coin flip before every game to determine what team is home.
  10. Please ask your players and spectators to put trash in trash cans provided.
